Monthly Bandwidth

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am experiencing difficulties with my monthly bandwidth, I thought the bandwidth was reset every new month? 

I still do not understand why the limit is so low, that is what helps to get the attention of many people to your service. I don't think that someone to whom I sent a link to a file will sign up for the service if he gets an error (and you lose a potential customer).

That way box is only usable for backup purposes. Even the paid version of box is in some points behind other free services who do not limit file sizes or bandwidth. 

Please don't get me wrong, I really like box otherwise I wouldn't be using it, but some restrictions make is hard to use it.

I have reset your bandwidth but wanted to explain a bit more about how this works:

The bandwidth limitation refers specifically to your usage of Box "share links" in a given month. Once a free user reaches 10GB your content can no longer be download via shared links until the next month. 

(Our business and enterprise accounts are capped at 2TB per user.)

So sorry for the delayed reply.

I see that you already figured it out but for others with the same question, the display name you have set for yourself within Box is what is displayed here on our forum.

To edit that display name follow these steps:

1) Click on your name in the top right corner of your Box screen

2) Hover over your name until you see the "pencil" or edit icon

3) Make the desired changes and click "Save".

my used bandwidth was supposed to reset today but it's still set to "Bandwidth used: 10.0GB of 10.0GB" and no one can still download my files ...

Hello. My monthly bandwidth shows 100% of 100%. Since it's September 1st, can it be reset? Thanks
