Uploading Files and Folders to Box

Get Training

If you're accessing Box from your web browser, you can use one of three methods to upload files and folders:

Drag and Drop

  1. Drag a single file, multiple files, or an entire folder from your desktop to the Files and Folders screen. (Zipped folders must be unzipped in order to drag and drop them.)

Note: Folder drag and drop is only supported in Chrome. For other browsers, use the Upload Folders option instead of drag and drop.

  2. Release the file(s) or folder. Your files will be uploaded and appear in the folder where you dropped them.

Upload Files and Folders using the File Browser
