As an admin you can expand the number of seats in your account directly from the Admin Console in the following places:
1. The Admin Console Dashboard
2. Account information in Enterprise Settings
3. The Managed Users tab under Users and Groups
Once you click any of the above links to purchase more seats, you will be presented with your purchasing options. You may select to Use existing method of payment, enter a New credit or debit card, or request that Box Send an invoice.
At this point, you will be asked to choose the number of additional seats you would like to purchase and review the monthly cost. Click Purchase Seats to confirm your payment.
We will confirm that you have successfully added seats to your Box account:
Your billing information will be updated within a few business days and you will receive an email confirmation at that time.
If you have already exceeded the number of users allotted to your account, you will see an alert that invites you to purchase more seats.
- Once you click Purchase More Seats, you will be presented with two options to correct the overage 1. Pay now–via credit card or invoice or 2. Call Box to explore custom volume pricing.
- Select the Pay now option to add seats immediately to your account and choose your preferred payment method (see images above for more information).
- Seat prices are charged at the list price for your account type (Starter, Business, Business Unlimited, Enterprise or Elite). If you would like to discuss volume pricing, you can return to the previous step, and select the Call Box option.
- After selecting your payment method, choose the number of additional seats you would like to purchase, and review the monthly cost. Click Purchase Seats to confirm your payment (see images above for more information).
- Your billing information will be updated within a few business days and you will receive an email confirmation at that time.
Please note: in order to be eligible to purchase additional seats from within Box, you must meet the following criteria:
1. You must be an enterprise admin.
2. You must NOT be in a web trial.
3. You must NOT be a reseller partner/client.
4. You must have a valid form of payment with Box.
5. Your enterprise must allow seat upgrade.
