Box Sync with Company Credentials / SSO Login Error

If you receive the following message when trying to login to Box Sync:

Box Sync is turned off for your account. Contact Box Support to get started with Sync.

 

...please check that you are following the correct Single Sign On (SSO) login flow for Box Sync if your company requires company credentials to login to Box.

The correct login flow is as follows:

  1. Click the "Use My Company's Single Sign on Credentials" option
  2. Enter just your email address (Box username / login) 
  3. You should then see your company pop-up window to enter your company-specific credentials (SSO credentials) and finish the login. 

If you are still having trouble please file a ticket with our support team so that we can help.

Here is how to do that:

  1. Make sure you're logged into app.box.com with your Box login and password
  2. Click Help under your name in top right corner of the page
  3. Click Support
  4. Click Submit a request
