To commemorate the launch of our new app for iPad and iPhone, you can upgrade your personal account to 50GB of storage.
This offer is valid for new and existing users with personal, free accounts. In order to redeem the offer, you must download the new Box for iPhone and iPad app (v3.0) and log in to it between January 15, 2014 and February 15, 2014. If you already have the Box app and are logged in to the app when you download the new version, you must log out and then log back in to receive the upgrade to your account.
A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming that your account has been upgraded (usually within 24 hours). You can also go to the settings tab in the Box for iPhone and iPad app and look at your account information to see your storage allocation.
If you are a new Box user, you will first need to first verify your email address via the email confirmation we will send you when you sign up. Then log in to the Box app on your iPhone or iPad, at which point you will receive the 50GB offer. Note if you click on the email confirmation link from your computer and log in to Box via the web (and not on your iPhone or iPad), you will not see the 50GB offer. Please log in to your account from the app and the 50GB upgrade will be triggered.
This offer is not cumulative with other offers. So if you have 10GB, 25GB, or any amount of storage less than 50GB when you redeem this offer, your account will be upgraded to 50GB. If you have previously redeemed a 50GB storage upgrade offer from Box, your storage allocation will remain at 50GB.
Please note that you will only be able to download the new Box for iPhone and iPad app if you are running iOS6 or iOS7 on your device. If you are running an older version of iOS, you will retain the older version of the Box for iPhone and iPad app and will not be able to get the 50GB offer.
