Windows 7: Downloaded .zip Folder Displays Corrupt Characters

When downloading a .zip folder which includes non-English characters, the folder name in this .zip file displays corrupt characters. These characters only appear garbled when downloading a folder with a non-English name and only when downloading the file from the Box web application using Windows 7.

This is a known issue that requires a service pack to be installed on Windows 7. See the Microsoft article with Hotfix: File names are corrupted after you decompress a .zip file in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2

During our testing, Box did not observe the same problem with English-only file names.
