    Hi Ryan,

    Welcome to the Box Community! I'm happy to help.

    The email is still associated with the deactivated account and the reason why you are having issues linning these emails. 

    At Box we allow users to reactivate their accounts up to 120 days after deactivation. After this time the account and content are queued for permanent deletion.

    To release the email from the deactivated accounts. We need to have the account reactivated and then to release the email we need another email that we are going to replace with that is not associated with another Box account.

    Hi AJ,

    Thanks for your response. I am leaving the company, so need to transfer it (and we haven't deactivated my account or email just yet). The issue is the release to an email not associated with a Box account: everyone in the team has used Box, so all their email accounts are now associated with a Box account. We are confused as to why it cannot be easily transferred to another team member's email address - this doesn't seem practical. Is there any way to fix this?
