Missing folder - a whole folder disappeared without deleting

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    Is the missing collaborative folder owned by someone else or owned by you?

    If you own the folder, it may have been deleted by one of your collaborators but you should be able to find it in your Trash by filtering trash contents to 'Items I Own'. Check out our support article on Managing Trash to learn more about this: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196093-Managing-Trash 

    • The Items I own filter displays all deleted items you own, regardless of who deleted the item.

    If a collaborative folder that you do not own is missing from your Box account, it is most likely that the owner of the collaborative folder has removed you as a collaborator on the collaborative folder or it may have been deleted. If this is the case, you will have to contact the folder owner of the collaborative folder to have them reinvite you to that folder again or restore it in the event that it was deleted
