    Welcome to the Box Community!

    To confirm, do you own the folder where these missing files are stored? Are these files "Collaborative" content?

    If a collaborative file suddenly disappears from your account, you'd want to to check if the file was accidentally deleted or moved by one of your collaborators. Box Admins may run a User activity report to investigate on this and see actions taken by your collaborator to items your own.

    You may also search your Box Trash and use the filters "Item I own" and "Item I deleted" to check if you can locate the missing content.
