Changing ownership and location (from one University to another) of my Box account?

Hi,

I am retiring and another university is going to continue my work. How do I transfer the files and ownership of my files to a new owner at a different university?

    Hi Cheryl,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    If you would like to transfer the ownership of your folder to another user, you will have to invite that user as a collaborator first into your folder and then as the owner, you simply need to promote that other user and modify his access to the folder as the "Owner".
