Viewing eml files in Box
I have added the Box add-in to Outlook and saved emails to a Box folder. Once in Box, is there a way of selecting the email and viewing it (rather than downloading it and opening it via Outlook or other mail application)?
It would be good to be able to see the content of an email fairly quickly when you have numerous emails in the same folder.
Thanks

Hi Kamran,
Welcome to the Box Community!
EML files are not supported by Box preview. You may check on this link, https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695794-Viewing-Different-File-Types-Supported-in-Box-Content-Preview for the list of file types supported by Box content preview.
If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com ! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.
Thanks for your participation in the forum!
Best,

Just adding a note/question for clarity. The Box for Outlook plug-in is a great tool as far as ease and access! What doesn't make sense is the discrepancy that the Box plug-in's format for saving an email is .eml when an .msg file seems to be more native inside Box. Looking at the pulse page, users are asking for a previewer for .eml files. I think the obvious question would be, can the plug-in save in a format that works natively inside Box?
