How to Create API which does function of sending files for instructions whenever user signs up!

Hello Everyone,

 

I need some help with API in Box.

 

I belong to part of one organization where they use box alot. So, we find a problem for Admins to fix it. the problem is when users sign up for account of BOX then Adminstration console needs to do is to make that user as member for box features as the user is joined the organization. its more work for admin to do manually.

 

There is any way to solve the problem like automation mail have to send to user whenever user signs up without any connecting with admin. there is any API to write for it.

     Currently it's not possible to customize the welcome email a new user gets from Box through our API. You can submit a request for this feature here.

     

    A potential workaround would be checking the Enterprise Events endpoint for "NEW_USER" events. Then you can programmaticly send the user an email with your custom message using a transactional email service like SendGrid or Mandrill.

    You do get a certain amount of customization with Enterprise edition regarding help, footers, etc. Seems to me it depends on what he is trying to accomplish.
