Hello everyone,
This is Jun Kang from FirstNet. It was nice to meeting with you all yesterday. Since I am a new Box user, I will ask lots of questions on Admin side.
Question,
I am having an issue after I invite an external user into our managed user group. Those people cannot open/preview/download/upload/create folder on their account (after they joined to our managed group). Is there a process I need to follow before invite an external user? And it shows they don't have a permission to create a folder or upload a file when they try to click create/upload. They use a same domain email address (@firstnet.gov). If you know a solution or had a similar issues, please share it with me. My email address is ***email address removed for privacy*** or reply to this comment. Thank you in advance.

Hello Jun,
Welcome to the community. It is so great to get to opportunity to bring a new customer into the community's fold. We have travelled your journey, so not to worry. After a very busy period of details and tasks you will be your way to very comfortable content management with Box.
I will let others pipe in, but at face value, I think your problem is that your external user has not yet been provided the correct permissions to join the folder(s) you want him/her to work in. Go to the Admin Console>Users & Groups>Create. Follow the guidance here - https://community.box.com/t5/Managing-Box-Users/Creating-and-Managing-Groups/ta-p/185

Hi Rick,
Thank you for attending! The group wouldn't be one without people like you taking time out of their busy days to participate.
Thank you to Chris as well for speaking! It was a pleasure having everyone at our offices.
I will be contacting several of you in the next week or so to start organizing the next meeting. In the meantime: I gotta get to some work deadlines!
Have a fabulous week,

Hi Melissa!
Thank you to you for coming as well. As I mentioned in my reply to Rick - you guys give the group life. Thank you for mentioning before you left that your offices might be a good meeting place for a future meeting. I will circle back to you on it later this week.
For others reading this - Melissa's office is at North Fairfax Drive near Ballston Metro. How do you all feel about meeting in NoVa sometime?
