    Hello ,

     

    is still not showing?

     

    There's a 5 minutes delay between setting up metadata and being able to search for it, I do not know if that can be affecting you somehow.

    Hi,

     

    It has been more than an hour on the folder and files. The metadata template also doesn't show up in the search dropdown.

    Is this still happening to you regarding the Metadata now appearing in the Web UI?


    This would be something our Box Support team would like to investigate with you and will require specific account information. If so, you should contact Box Support to help you directly.

    Yes, Thank you.

     

    The support guys resolved the issues. Whilst its possible with a Business Account to set metadata using the API, it's not possible to view it in the Web UI. To do that you will require a Business Plus account.

     

    When the account type was changed, it all started to work.
