Our Box account is a co-admin. Does it need 'owner' rights to crawl a folder?

Hi , to crawl a folder, you can create an JWT application with "Generate user access token" rights and get the token of a user who has the least required rights for the folder to be crawled. You can use this token to access the folder via your crawler

Yes that is what we are doing. But some folders do not allow us to do that. Is that because the folder is owned by another administrator?

Hi , I presume you are trying to impersonate as the folder owner for crawling, this will not work for co-admins as only primary admin has the rights to impersonate co-admins.
