    If you are looking to configure the default Box Drive Folder location, please take a look at this article: 

    A few important things to note in the article I shared to you:

    • Customizing the Box Drive folder does not change where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files. So customizing the folder will not save disk space if you relocate the folder to another drive.
    • Customizing the Box Drive folder location resolves issues with absolute file path linking when all files and linked files are accessible to a user via Box Drive. It does not resolve these issues when files are downloaded via Box Edit or the Box web application or when some of the files exist outside of Box Drive's folder.
    • Customizing the Box Drive folder location does not resolve absolute file path linking issues between Mac and Windows environments because it is impossible to set the folder location to a path that works on both operating systems.
    • On both Windows and Mac systems, Box Drive sets the permissions of the Box Drive folder to the current user. This prevents multiple people on the same machine from accessing each other's files even if the folder is in a shared location such as C:\ or /Users/Shared.

    Hi France! Thank you for the answer.

     

    In fact, I want to save disk space.

     

    I want that the files I save in the file pointed by the the red arrow are saved in the Disk D, not the C, where the user file is located (C:\Users\Igor\Box)

     

    How can I do that?

    I understand you're looking to change the location of your Box Drive folder to save spaces, however at present, Box Drive does not allow changing location of where it stores its app data or cached files. 

    If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting your feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

    You can trace the requests for that feature for more than 2 years back. With fast but small SSD drives, how can users store TB of data offline on their computers ?

    Thtat's a joke to ask people to submit feature request at pulse.box.com.
