Unable to access link
I am the owner of a Box account. A viewer I shared the link with cannot get into the Box link that I sent. When they click on the link, it asks for e-mail and password. They enter their e-mail and don't have any password. No place do they see where they can create one. When they try to reset the password it says they will get an e-mail giving them this opportunity. The e-mail never comes. Not even into junk or spam accounts. Any assistance provided is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like this is an issue with the Shared link access type you set on the link you shared to the other person. You can share link to others (even those who doesn't have a Box account so no need to login) as long as you set the link access to "People with the link".
If you choose any of the other two, which are "Invited people only" or "People in your Company", the person will be required to login to Box (or sign up if they have not created a Box account in the past).
If you want to share the link to someone who has not used Box before, you can just change the access type to "People with the link". Please take a look at this article for details: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697094-Creating-Shared-Links
