My old PC crashed, terminally!
Lots of my files were (and still are) stored in Box.
I now have a new Win 10 (Home Edition) PC.
I'm trying to work out how to safely restore access to, and synchronise my Box files.
Although I suspect the answers to this "How do I?" question may already exist, I'm struggling to search for the answer, 'cos 1) I'm severely sight impaired, 2) I'm 70, and 3) It's taking a while to customise my skins and colour schemes so I can actually read the relevant articles.
So that's the reason for the question.
I suspect the resolution sequence will be...
1. Download and install Box.
2. Ensure my PC has a drive letter which matches my original local Box dive to which syncing took place (it was the "Z" drive). [Not sure if this is relevant]
3. As part of the install, tell Box where I want the synchronised files to go (i.e. the Z drive.
What I'm unsure about is whether Box will automatically download copies of my Box files to my new PC, or is there something else I should do, either as well as or instead of as part of the installation.
Can ay kind soul help?
