Could not create connection with Mule Box connector

We're trying to connect Box using JWT authorization and provided all the required information for connection however we're getting below error.

 

Error: 

Message : Could not create connection
Element : appFlow/processors/1 @ app:app.xml:29 (Get folder information)
Element DSL : <box:get-folders-by-folder-id doc:name="Get folder information" doc:id="eae35697-60bc-4ec2-a17e-bca4b1a368a5" config-ref="Box_Connector_Config" folderId="143478849488"></box:get-folders-by-folder-id>
Error type : BOX:CONNECTIVITY
FlowStack : at appFlow(appFlow/processors/1 @ app.xml:29 (Get folder information))

  Hi, 

  Based on the limited knowledge of Mulesoft I have (I just googled the configuration steps), it looks like the application needs to be an oauth app... not JWT. Can you try using an oauth custom app instead and report back?
