    Can you confirm if the other person performed Folder ownership transfer ?

    If so, please be advised that Files & subfolders are inaccessible during a folder ownership transfer. This means that during the move, any shared content is inaccessible to everyone who have access to the content. In addition the process of transferring content can take some time to complete, depending on the amount of content to transfer. The more content, the longer it takes to complete. Box does not perform transfers as one single action. Instead, Box chunks a transfer into smaller pieces and then schedules each piece of work separately. As a result, portions of the folder tree display gradually at the destination, until the entire transfer completes. If the after other user start the process there is no error, but some of the content does not immediately display in your account, we suggest to wait up to a day and then check again if the folders are showing again, it they still don't, please get back to us so we can check and investigate with our specialist.
