Box Notes for Desktop Decommission is a terrible idea!
Box Notes for Desktop has been my single favorite product across all storage & notes products in the market. It's a focused, simple, online notes experience that allows me to focus on just taking notes, creating checklists, etc. without too much noise.
Now I need to go back into a browser to use box notes? My browser tabs are a living hell and no chance I stay focused or continue to use Box :(
Not my favorite Box idea :(

Hi Nick,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Thanks for reaching out and I understand where you are coming from upon hearing the news of Box Notes EOL.
Even though we are ending our Notes Desktop App experience, we believe there is an opportunity to move our customers to the Box Web App to use Notes. This way they can take advantage of the best features that Notes has to offer. Box is committed to delivering the best possible Box Notes experience that makes secure, real-time collaboration easier. That’s why Box has made the decision to discontinue the Box Notes Desktop and focus development resources on the Box Notes web app.
Moving forward, Box Notes will be only be accessible through the web app.

Notes is a focused experience, moving something to the web does not allow for focus. Evernote, Bear, Apple Notes, One Notes. All Desktop experiences. It's an unfortunate decision that sadly does not make anything easier nor does it it allow for better note taking features or experience.
I'll be moving off of Box Notes indefinitely :(
Best of luck though and thanks for the response
