Box is pleased to announce the access of older Shuttle job reports from the Box End User App
Box Shuttle's Job Report feature provides a detailed view of every file scanned or moved by a job. Every time a new job runs, a new set of data is collected and older data becomes less relevant. In the future, we will start removing older reports from the Shuttle UI. In order to provide a history of your migration, we will generate an archival export of each job run 90 days after completion. These older reports will be accessible in the Box Admin's Box Shuttle Reports / Archive folder. These reports will contain the same detailed information currently visible in the Job Reports page of the Shuttle UI and in reports manually generated on that page.
Please note that there will be a separate product announcement in the upcoming months when we start removing older job reports from the Shuttle UI.

Box will start sending email notifications for your Shuttle jobs.
Box Shuttle will soon start sending email notifications when their Shuttle job starts and when it finishes. The Shuttle Job start emails are particularly useful with the Scheduler so that you are proactively notified that the job started at the time you expected it to. The Job complete emails will inform you of the success or failure of your Shuttle jobs. The notifications will allow you to monitor your migrations progress even when you are not at your computer.

Box is pleased to announce a new scheduling feature in Box Shuttle. We heard the customer input that sometimes jobs should be started outside of business hours, and users running migrations would like the jobs to start during the time they attend to other tasks. With the Box Shuttle schedule feature, jobs can be set to start when they should be, even if you are in a meeting or occupied with another task.
Box Shuttle users can now set any migration job to start at a specific date and time. Users can select what type of job run they want - an analysis, a simulation, or a transfer. Schedules can also be set to repeat, if needed.
With the Box Shuttle schedule feature, an admin can now set a job to run many different ways. For example, and admin might want to:
Schedule a daily transfer to accommodate their organization’s change frequency and keep Box in sync with their source system
Set a weekly simulation run for a month to ensure that no content is being created in the source, before fully shutting it down at the end of a migration
Schedule a monthly analysis run to provide updated information to aid in planning an upcoming migration

Box is releasing new enhancements to Box Shuttle: Expanding access to migration tools, and augmenting our robust reporting capabilities.
Box Shuttle-specific co-admin permissions. Box Admins will now have the ability to securely enable non-Admins to have access to Box Shuttle via a new co-admin setting focused on individuals who work only on migrations. We have added a specific set of co-admin permissions, granting specialty migration operators access to the Admin Console but restricting their use to Box Shuttle only. Box Shuttle co-admins will be able to migrate data into folders across the entire Box instance.
Export reports to Box. Additionally, Box is enhancing our robust migration reporting capabilities. Previously, exported job reports were downloaded to the local computer. With this release, job reports are exported directly to a Box account, enabling faster and easier access and collaboration.
Together these enhancements open up Box Shuttle to enable user driven migrations under Box Admin control, and enhance to access and security of during- and post-migration reporting.

Box is releasing a slate of reporting enhancements for Box Shuttle, which will help Box Admins better plan, track, and review migrations. Building on Box Shuttle’s already strong reporting capabilities, we are adding several new features:
Display amount of total content transferred. On the Shuttle dashboard, the total amount of content transferred by all migration jobs in this enterprise is now shown for all migration users. This report will help admins understand the total amount of data they’ve brought into Box via Box Shuttle. (released)
Note, data migrated through legacy Box Shuttle standalone will not show in this report
Users Job Report. The existing job report now includes a new “Users” view that shows content by user ownership. It displays the total number of files and folders, and the total size of that user’s content. This view can be toggled to show the content as it exists on the source (before migration), or the migrated content as it exists in Box (after migration).
Collaborators Job Report. The existing job report now also includes a new “Collaborators” view which shows content by user access. Similar to the Users report, this displays the total number of files and folders, and the total size of the content shared with the user. This view can also be toggled to show the content two ways: as it exists on the source (before migration), or as it exists in Box (after migration). (rolling out)
Download Job Reports to your Box account. Rather than export-only report access, Shuttle job reports will now be saved to your Box account, in the “My Reports” folder. This ensures that your files stay in Box, where they can be easily shared, downloaded, and preserved. (coming soon)
Together, these features provide more planning and tracking capabilities, allowing Box Admins to more easily scope migrations, work with users to manage and track their content as it is migrated, and keep users informed as the migration proceeds.
