Box File uploader modal to upload file from local computer

Does box provide a client side file upload modal, similar to the one file stack provides? I'm using a third party file upload for now, would like to know if Box has one? Box support didn't answer my question directly. They pointed me to the box file picker which is meant to share box content to our applications, they directed me to the developer forum.
