Box Status

Getting an error "Box application is disabled by administrator"

Hi Box admin team,

 

             I am unable to access the Box application "Box_For_TWhisper" I created in my login to fetch the authorization token, using the GET method using the URL,

 

https://account.box.com/api/oauth2/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=YOUR_CLIENT_ID&redirect_uri=YOUR_REDIRECT_URI&state=security_token%3DKnhMJatFipTAnM0nHlZA

 

It throws the error,

 

 

          Could you please help me here. We are trying to integrate Box into our existing applicaiton on bluemix and call Box API using NodeJS and upload files into client specified folder path of Box.  So for this purpose we are trying to follow the OAuth steps for the above box application. Kindly help us here.

    I believe an admin has to authorize your app.

     

    Admin Console -> Enterprise Settings -> Apps -> and I add the client_id there

    Hi

           Thanks for your response. I used the developer console available within my login at https://ibm.ent.box.com and created my application. I am not seeing any admin console in my login nor am I sure whom I should contact for authorizing my application. Kindly help with more information. Thanks.

    I believe that only the admin and co-admins can see the admin console.  With JWT, you need the admin to authorize you app.
