api Search with mdfilters for a file with metadata template field with no value?

Is it possible to search with the api Search with mdfilters for a metadata attribute (metadata template field) with no value?

I'm using the .Net SDK and it does not accept setting the mdfilters field to null and setting the mdfilters field to empty string ("") does not find the file with the metadata template attached.

  Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. I recommend submitting a feature request at pulse.box.com to our product team if you'd like to see this added!
