Yes, it could be one of the two if not an issue 1. Space not available in new owners account. 2. No of files/folders to be transferred fall out of recommended limits.

Whenever a file is deleted from Box Drive it goes in users trash itself. If you are not able to see the file in your trash the reason could be that it never synched to box in first place.
