    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    Could you try asking the person you added for a screenshot showing their uploaded files in the folder to confirm this? 

    This sounds like a user error specially if the person is new to Box, since they are not yet familiar with Box, they may have mistakenly uploaded somewhere else, so you want to make sure they are going inside your folder and are actually uploading in there.
