Invites and shared links: possible to view?

My question relates to 2 scenarios related to sharing and collaboration: 1. Send Shared Link (with our without a message); 2. Invite People (with our without a message). Is there a way for users who send shared links OR invite people to view that communication and reference it later. For example the recipient might say they never received a notification. Can senders go somewhere to confirm it was sent? Can they resend?
