Unable to connect excel files to power query

I can create and refresh a query if the box is synced to my system folder, however if someone else on the team wants to refresh the query which is in the shared folder are unable to do so as power query searches for source data to act on conditions that I have provided. I did follow the steps mentioned in few of the chats, but it failed.
