can't sign in

Someone sent me an invitation to look at a document on Box. I opened an account giving name, email, password. I went back to email address and clicked on the link to verify myself. Box opened up for me. I closed Box on that computer and went to another computer to open Box up again, but it says that it does not recognize my user id or password. What is my user id anyway?
