Box Status

No option to open file with Microsoft Excel online

I have been using box and all the file I have recievd I can open and edit using Miscrosoft Excel online or powerpoint online if a powerpoint file.  However I have just recieved a file which only lets me open and edit with Google sheets.  I have checked all the other files and I can still open with Excel online, so its just this one file.

    Did you received the file through shared link or collaboration invite? If it's the latter, what is your permission in this file?

    I have the same problem and have Viewer-Uploader access.  Do I need Editor access?
