Can external users use Box Drive?

We have several folks who will be external users, not managed users, to specific files in our Box account. 

Are these external users able to download Box Drive, access the folders/files we share with them, edit offline, and their edits automatically sync back to Box?

Or is Box Drive available ONLY for internal, managed users?
