I am unable to upload all of our firmware files

I used the "Upload a folder" option and tried to save our firmware in the same place as our legal files. Box uploaded 41 out of over 5,000 files and stopped and would not upload another folder. Many of the 41 files are empty, also.
Is this not possible. (I am not using any of the "forbidden" characters.)
