Files No Longer Open...unless

It used to be that I would see files in progress - whether PDF, PPT, etc - and be able to open and comment on them.  Most of my colleagues use PCs, I however do not.  Now when I click on a document I get the following message:  "undefined is not an object (evaluating 'this.pdfjsLib.GlobalWorkerOptions')"

I appear to only have the options of a) using PPT online, Google slides, or downloading to PPT.    Is this is current baseline ability of this file sharing app?
