There was an error while trying to add NewEmail@email to your account

Dear Box, I am trying to change my email address for my personal account. When I try to link a new email, I get the error message "There was an error while trying to add NewEmail@email to your account".  I have tried different browsers, logging out, clearing cache, logging back in.  Can you guide me?
