Cannot create a new subfolder.

When I try to create a new subfolder within a specific folder, I receive the following error message and cannot create the folder

Error Message:
There was a problem completing your request. Please try again.

 

Also, when I try to give ownership of a first-level folder to another user, I get the following error message

Error Message:
You cannot move this item because either source or destination item is in another operation.

  After some time, the problem was resolved.
  Maybe it was due to some processing going on in the background.

  You are correct. The message "You cannot move this item because either source or destination item is in another operation." means that the first activity done to the folder is in progress. You have to allow some time for the process to complete to try again.
