Need to Change Folder Ownership - Owner no longer with the company

    Hi Chelsey,

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

    To successfully accomplish the transfer of folder ownership, the current owner must initiate the transfer.

    At this point, you have to contact the owner to take ownership of the said folder.

    Hi Rona - the person no longer works for the company and no longer has access so they are not able to transfer the ownership.
