Can't delete Word created in App and I am the owner

this is the first time I created an in App word document. I tried to paste content from another document outside of Box. No luck there. So the document remained empty. It is now in my folder and I cant delete it as when I tick the box or go to the ..... ellipsis option there is no trash option so I cant delete it - very annoying having an empty file sitting in my folder. How do I get rid of it?
