Solution for installing Box tools with Parsec

Hi,

I just checked on 2 Windows machines which I was connected to them remotely using Parsec: If you don't have the Box tools installed, you won't be able to install and start the Box Edit services, nor those processes..

The solution:

  1. Logout from the Windows machine and disconnect from the Parsec host
  2. RDP (or physically) login into the machine
  3. Install the Box Tools
  4. Logout
  5. Connect using the Parsec.

The Box service upon login will start and you'll be able to edit files locally with the Box Tools.

Could someone from the support team - add this to their KB please? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this issue.
