Can Box shield scan malware for encrypted file?

Hello,

I am planning to use Box shield but I want to know more details about it. Just a query about it: Can Box shield able to scan encrypted uploaded file to check malware? If a person upload self encrypted file to Box than what will be action if the encrypted file contains malware?
