Custom Access to Box Sync for users

Hi guys, we're sort of in between types of users for our operation.

We don't want to allow users to delete files, only add them, but at the same time have a local copy of the contents of the said folder.

We can't use Box Drive, our company does not allow it.

Technically, users would be Previewer Uploaders, but with Box Sync...

 

Any help?

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    We currently do not support this type of permission when using Box Sync. A user must have Editor Access or higher in order to mark folders to sync, and there is no way of changing this requirement at present.
