With the Box LiveApp for Quip, joint Box/Quip users can leverage Quip documents for team collaboration and project management, while using Box to securely store their most valuable content. The Box LiveApp enables Quip users to access, share, upload, and preview Box files without leaving the Quip application.
To log in and connect your Quip and Box accounts:
- Open a Quip document, type @box, and click Insert. The initial screen displays.
- Click Connect your Box account, and follow the prompts to Grant Access to Box.
You remain logged in unless you use a Box LiveApp instance to log out. Also, logging out of box.com does not log you out of Box in Quip.
IMPORTANT You can only display one Box file or folder per Box LiveApp instance. However, you can display multiple Box LiveApp instances in a Quip document – you do not need to log in to view each item.
Now it’s time to use the integration.
