Box GxP Validation enables life sciences organizations to validate Box functionality so they can use Box to work with, manage, and distribute all of their clinical, lab, and manufacturing content. GxP Validation provides:
- Validation Accelerator Pack, which includes validation lifecycle documents, with guidance for validating the Box platform to be used for regulated content.
- Automated compliance, where Box shares an automated testing report with Box GxP customers twice monthly: the second and last Thursday of every month. The report contains results from a comprehensive set of tests of Box functionality, assuring customers that Box is operating “as intended.”
- Quarterly GxP-specific release notes, which include information about changes to Box functionality so that GxP customers can adapt any compliance validation that they perform.
- Optional added auditing via paid onsite auditing and third-party auditing.
Information about tests and their results is available for Governance customers on a GxP Insights page in the Box Admin Console.
Note
If you use Box Drive, you must be using Box Drive version 2.16.298 or newer to be GxP compliant.
