Box Sign Sync is a feature that allows Salesforce users to synchronize Box Sign documents and their status with Salesforce records.
If you notice that a Box Sign record in Salesforce is not updating automatically, you can use the Sync button to manually synchronize the events and ensure the record reflects the correct status.
Configuration
To receive updates in Salesforce, Box pushes updates in real time. This is done using the Box for Salesforce connected app included with the integration.
Recommended Connected App Settings
Navigate to Setup in Salesforce.
Search for Manage Connected Apps.
Select the managed connected app Box for Salesforce.
Click Edit Policies.
Configure the following settings:
Permitted Users: Select Admin approved users are pre-authorized
IP Relaxation: Select Relax IP restrictions
After setting Permitted Users to Admin approved users are pre-authorized, save the changes. You will then need to add the connected app to the Profiles or Permission Sets that require access to this app.
