Shared links not working for me

I have access to the Box folder that all of our assets are living in, but whenever someone from my team sends or shares a link to a specific subfolder or asset, I get this message.

This shared file or folder has been removed.

Please check the URL or contact the owner, as the shared link may have changed. You can also visit one of the following pages for help:"

I then have to navigate to the asset via 'My Account' and can find it that way, but it's very frustrating that I can't see what my teammates are linking to.
