Can't set up password for account if login email is with gmail?

I'm not able to create a password to create a password if the account is under a gmail account.  I'd like to set it up so that the other computer that I would use this Box account on does not need to have logged into the gmail account that it is registered under and I could log into the Box account with a password instead.
