Prevent page to change from search when clicking on download

For context, I have to look up a specific value (i.e ABCDE-BLK) and if we have this file, typically a set of 4 different files(images) will show up. 

In the past, if the file/images were available, I would be able to click and download each one from the search page but now, everytime i click on download, it takes me to a page where it shows the one I just downloaded. I don't want this feature - is there a way i can download multiple files from the search page without having to go to a different page? I am aware I can select images and then download but that gives me a zip file which is not efficient if I have to check for 100 unique values. 
This will lead me to have 100 zip files and i would have to manual open them and sort those files again.
