"Script Debugger" continually reporting "file has been changed by another application"

I moved my AppleScript development files into Box Drive today, with all files available offline. When I save scripts, my development tool, Script Debugger always reports that the file has been changed by another application. This is the dialog:

I guess that Box is changing met-data on files whenever something in the file changes (e.g. a save). Script Debugger is sensitive to changes made outside its control, which is sensible.

Can this behaviour be changed ? Otherwise, I will have to drop Box Drive – I can't risk changes to my development files that I do not know or understand.
