Excel Crashing When Opening a File in Box Drive

These are the steps I've taken so far:
-file opens without an issue in safe mode. Closed Excel, checked add-ins, and no Add-ins were enabled.
-repaired office.
-noticed files were being opened from Box. Copied the file to the local system and it opened without an issue.
-confirmed Box was added to trusted locations in Excel.
-signed out of Box Drive and signed back in.
-reinstalling Box Drive
