cannot create password after creating account with Google login

Hi there,

It looks like numerous other people have already had this issue and posted in the forum but no solution is given. I created an account today using Google login in order to see some files shared with me. The person sharing the file with me requires a strong password to see the shared files. I have tried to add a password to my account so that I can then create the required strong password, but it is not letting me. How do I fix this? Thanks.
